On May 1, director Anders Hundahl from the industry association Asfaltindustrien retires after 15 years in the post. Now his successor has been found. And it will be in the infrastructure family. The new director will be Jakob Svane.
Jakob Svane is 46 years old and comes from The Danish Industry Association, where he is head of the secretariat for Danish Shipping and Port Companies.
Will speak for the roads
– After 15 good years with Anders Hundahl as director, we have now found his replacement, Jakob Svane, who will help to ensure that the Asphalt Industry Employers’ and Branch Association can continue its systematic and targeted work of speaking up for the roads as an independent and active association, says chairman of Asfaltindustrien Claus Terkildsen in a press release.
– I am looking forward to being at the helm of the Asphalt industry, which is an industry we are all deeply dependent on every day. I have a good impression of the association and look forward to representing and developing it together with companies and employees, says future director Jakob Svane.
– I will miss the wonderful group of people that the asphalt contractors are to that extent. The same applies to the skilled employees in the industry association and our secretariat community, says outgoing director Anders Hundahl.
