Primagruppen is this year’s recipient of the Lolland-Falster Business Award.

On Wednesday 4 November, Ingolf Stenstrup Larsen, regional director at Nordea, presented the award at the business awards ceremony at Nykøbing F. Theatre, in front of 200 guests from the business community and municipalities of Lolland-Falster.

In his justification, he highlighted that the company, which is built on many years of experience, continues to develop its business. High professional standards and qualified advice go hand in hand with investments in the green transition, employees and the workforce of the future.

“Primagruppen does not wait for the future. They help build it. They combine solid craftsmanship with the determination to develop their business and make the green transition tangible for customers. At the same time, they invest in the young people who will carry these trades forward. In every respect, this is a company that lives up to what we wish to honour with the Business Award,” says Ingolf Stenstrup Larsen, regional director at Nordea.

Primagruppen has developed from a roofing contractor into a group with several specialised fields and more than 100 employees. The group includes Primatag, Sonny VVS and Tømrerfirmaet Stoffregen, among others.

The green initiative includes the reuse of building materials and solutions that make existing buildings more energy efficient. Through Prima Akademiet, the company gives unemployed people the opportunity to try their hand at roofing, and through Ungegarantien, it helps more young people into employment.

“The commitment does not stop at the company’s door. It is felt in workplaces, community associations and in the support for both elite and grassroots sport. Primagruppen takes responsibility for the society of which it is a part. They are therefore a very deserving recipient of this year’s award,” says Ingolf Stenstrup Larsen.

Primatag also received the Business Award in 1998.

This year’s other nominees were Dem Fra Nordlunde, estate agency Dennis Frederiksen - Danbolig, Lalandia and RM Fintech.
