The Femern Belt Development Foundation has gained a new member in its management. Hakon Iversen was appointed as vice-chairman of the foundation's board on 4 April this year. He replaces Per Anders Høegh Sandbergh Stouge, who left the board on 30 September last year.
It is DI that has appointed Hakon Iversen, who took up the position as director of DI Transport on 1 February. It is Region Zealand that appoints the other vice-chairman. The chairman is the mayor of Lolland Municipality, Holger Schou Rasmussen.
The foundation aims to support development and cooperation in connection with the Fehmarn Belt link - both on a strategic and practical level. This is done, among other things, through consultancy, sales activities, and coordination of interests across the region.
Hakon Iversen already holds board positions in, among others, Hedorf A/S and the Hedorf Foundation. According to information in the CVR register, he is associated as a real owner in several commercial foundations.
The change in the board is registered with the Danish Business Authority on 16 April 2025. The foundation is headquartered in Rødby and is organised as a commercial foundation.
