New Member on the Board of Nordic Sugar

Employees at the sugar giant have chosen a new representative

Martin Nøbølle Ravn has been elected as the employee representative on the board of Nordic Sugar A/S. He takes over the position from Morten Vinther. The change took place on 9 May 2025.

Nordic Sugar is one of Europe's largest sugar producers with factories in Nakskov and Nykøbing Falster.

Experience from local companies

Martin Nøbølle Ravn has board experience from several companies in the local area.

Since 2008, he has been a member of the board of Flemming Ravn Holding A/S, and since 2011, he has also held a board position at Bolighuset Nykøbing F. A/S.

In German hands

Nordic Sugar A/S is part of the German group Nordzucker Group and produces sugar for both the food industry and the retail market. Production in Denmark mainly takes place at the factories in Nakskov and Nykøbing Falster, where sugar beets from Danish farmers are processed.

The company has roots dating back to the 19th century and has developed over the years into a modern food company with a focus on quality, sustainability, and close cooperation with agriculture.
