Large Profit at Bo-Hus
After the bankruptcy and the scandal with Sundskolen, there is a surplus of many millions
Bo-Hus with a big plus
Anders Knudsen
The construction company Bo-Hus A/S strengthened its economy in 2024 with a profit after tax of 12.8 million DKK compared to 9.2 million DKK the previous year. This is stated in the company's annual report.
At the same time, equity has grown significantly to 22.5 million DKK from 9.7 million DKK in the previous financial year.
In December 2022, Bo-Hus A/S filed for bankruptcy, which affected around 100 employees and several ongoing projects. A significant reason was the construction of Sundskolen for Guldborgsund Municipality, as the project was hit by price increases on materials and delivery problems, which significantly increased costs. After the bankruptcy, Bo-Hus A/S was quickly re-established under new ownership and resumed work on four construction sites.
The management describes the year's result as satisfactory and points to a strong order backlog for 2025. The company has received new construction tasks that fit the company's strategy and market conditions.
