The growth locomotive continues to rumble on at the land contractor MSE Entreprise A/S in Nørre Alslev.

Throughout recent years, the construction company has experienced increasing activity, well supported on the way by tasks in connection with the construction of the Fehmarn connection.

In the latest accounts for 2021-2022, the turnover once again sets a record.

The turnover has increased from DKK 264 million in 2020/2021 to DKK 420 million in 2021/2022.

Increased by 192 percent
Since 2019, the year before corona kicked in, revenue has increased by as much as 192 percent.

– The increasing turnover is due to a combination of infrastructure projects and district heating projects, and then general growth, says Jan Sørensen, director, MSE Entreprise A/S.

The soil contractor carries out soil and sewer work for both FLC and FBC and on a number of smaller spin-off projects from the construction of the Fehmarn link. Up to 100 men at MSE Entreprise are engaged in earthworks.

Establishes roads on Masnedø
MSE Entreprise A/S is also active in connection with the construction of the Storstrømsbroen. Here, the contractor establishes local roads and roundabouts due to a changed alignment. 6-7 men work on building soil, road drainage, curbs and asphalting.

In addition, the great focus on rolling out district heating throws off a lot of tasks for MSE Entreprise.

– We have been so busy with this that it takes up a third of the task volume, says Jan Sørensen.

Never been so busy before
The growth train therefore continues to rumble on for MSE Entreprise, which also on 27 March begins work on establishing a gas pipeline to Lolland-Falster.

– We are probably looking into the busiest year we have ever had. We have a historically large order book, says Jan Sørensen.

MSE Entreprise A/S employs 200 employees and is currently hiring 25 more due to the busyness.

These include machine operators, structural engineers and earth and concrete workers. Before the Fehmarn adventure boosted the business, there were between 80 and 100 employees in MSE Entreprise A/S.
