DS Flexhal is the general contractor for the construction of Hub 48 Maribo, and the Hobro-based company has complete control over concrete and standing structures. But when it comes to earthworks and installations, they need assistance. Therefore, director Lasse Kaare Olsen used the opportunity to call for subcontractors at the business network Business Lolland-Falster’s building and construction conference at the vocational training center CELF in Nykøbing Falster on Wednesday:
Many good talks
– Just grab me, said Lasse Kaare Olsen from the stage. And they did:
– I’ve had a lot of good talks. We have previously built on Lolland, but we were not aware that so much was happening here. It was on a slightly smaller scale earlier, and there we didn’t see interest at all to the same degree. We are best for large-scale construction, says Lasse Kaare Olsen, director of DS Flexhal, when FemernReport catches him in a short available moment at Business Lolland-Falster’s building and construction conference in Nykøbing Falster.
First of many projects
The agreement on the main contract on Peper & Söhne’s Hub 48 Maribo project has opened DS Flexhal’s eyes to the fact that there is something to look forward to on Lolland:
– We hope that Hub 48 Maribo is the first of many projects. We have experience with building logistics, and I completely agree with Peper & Söhne when they say that Lolland-Falster is a future region, says Lasse Kaare Olsen.
Planning starts in April
The design of Hub 48 Maribo starts around April, and Lasse Kaare Olsen hopes that construction can start during the summer. When that time comes, DS Flexhal needs subcontractors for, among other things, electrical and plumbing installations and roof work.
DS Flexhal is not a total stranger to the South Sea Islands. Among other things, they have been responsible for the construction of Mertz in Maribo, and the conference in Nykøbing Falster provided a good opportunity to gather information. In any case, Lasse Kaare Olsen became the center of the party.
