The company Femern Belt Energy A/S has delivered heat pumps in a big way for the Fehmarn project.
1,200 heat pumps have been delivered to Adapteo for the housing of the tunnel workers in FLC Village. Now an additional 500 heat pumps are to be delivered to Adapteo’s homes at Lalandia.
There are also other projects at Lolland-Falster.
– By the end of 2023, my people will have installed 1,800 heat pumps down here. It requires a lot of capital and precision with the deliveries. Especially at the moment, when delivery times can be uncertain, says Erik Vind.
Been there since 1998
He is the managing director of Femern Belt Energy, which is located on Lidsøvej near Rødbyhavn.
Although the company has only existed for a year and a half, it is part of All Green Group ApS, which also consists of YellowTec A/S and All Green Distribution A/S.
There is therefore plenty of know-how in the company, which has roots back to 1998, about all forms of green energy from heat pumps, solar cell systems and geothermal heating to charging stations and energy advice.
More projects underway
Erik Vind himself has had his way at Lolland over the past 23 years.
– I have a close relationship with what goes on at the Fehmarn project, but I work for the whole of Lolland-Falster. So we have many activities and tenders running, says Erik Vind.
Femern Belt Energy has, among other things, just installed a solar cell system at Hage’s Badehotel, which will cover the entire reception area. Earlier this year, Femern Belt Energy installed 144 solar panels on the roof of Rødby Swimming Pool, which can produce almost 53,000 kilowatts.
– Our name Femern Belt Energy relates to the fact that we would like to create energy sources in the area around the Femern Belt. We have partners who are building up in Germany, says Erik Vind.
Delivers on time
For Erik Vind, it has been important in order to come into play as a supplier of green energy solutions to show commitment to the local area, orderliness and delivery stability.
– You come into play by being proper and being able to prove that you can deliver on time and at the right price, and by having the right employees, says Erik Vind and continues:
– Trust is not something you get. It’s something you build. You gain that trust by getting involved with the local population and being known in the area. I have engaged Femern Belt Energy in the local area with local organizations and TSØ (the handball team Team Sydhavsøerne, ed.), where we are a gold sponsor.
Come to stay
Femern Belt Energy has moved into a country property on Lidsøvej, and according to Erik Vind, Femern Belt Energy is here to stay. Also in the long run.
– We see good opportunities to offer green energy solutions for the remainder of the project’s term. If the factory becomes permanent, it provides further prerequisites in the future. We don’t see this as a delivery and then we’re out again. We see it as a long-term investment, where the All Green Group organization is always present down here. This is also why we bought this house. We want to have a local representation, says Erik Vind.
