Guldborgland Frugtplantage A/S can look back on a financial year with solid progress. The profit before tax rose to DKK 2.8 million for the period 2023/24 – a significant improvement from DKK 219,000 the previous year.

The reason is the sale of land, says director Lars Frits Skou Hansen.

Operations are more or less as usual, but we have sold land at a higher price than it was valued at, he says.

This results in an increased gross profit in the accounts. The profit increased from DKK 944,000 to DKK 3.2 million. At the same time, there was a smaller growth in financial income, which contributed DKK 780,000 against DKK 392,000 the previous year.

After tax, the plantation is left with a profit of DKK 2.3 million. The management proposes that DKK 300,000 be paid out in dividends, while the rest of the profit is transferred to the equity, which has now grown to almost DKK 8 million.
