On 18 September 2025, businesspeople, politicians, and researchers will meet at Eventfabrik Neustadt, Holsten for this year's HanseBelt Zukunftskongress. The theme is Zusammen Richtung Zukunft - Together Towards the Future.
The doors open in the early afternoon with an informal get-together. Following this, the chairman of HanseBelt e.V., Arndt Schanze, will welcome attendees before Schleswig-Holstein's Minister of Economy and Transport, Claus Ruhe Madsen, and the Chair of the Zealand Regional Council, Trine Birk Andersen, deliver opening speeches.
The conference's keynote will be delivered by author and happiness researcher Maike van den Boom, who will speak about the differences and similarities in Scandinavian and German work culture. After a coffee break, a panel discussion will follow, where Trine Birk Andersen will be joined by Dr. Steven Engler from E-Gruppe, Mirko Schönfeldt from Baltic FS, Anette Ustrup Svendsen from Scandlines, and Andreas Wenzel from the Danish-German Chamber of Commerce.
The day will conclude with two themed sessions where participants will discuss concrete experiences with cross-border cooperation, including legislation and tax issues.
Participation is free for members of HanseBelt e.V. Members of IHK Lübeck pay 95 euros, while the price for others is 195 euros.
