The new business park in Maribo at motorway E47 exit 48 has good wind in its sails. So good that director Mads Stærk expects the business park to be ready to enter phase two at the start of next year:

– It is going well. Six to eight projects have been sold, and several purchase agreements are in process. I expect to sell out in phase one during the autumn and at least by the New Year, says Mads Stærk from Maribo Erhvervspark.

111,000 square meters
The first phase of the Business Park Maribo consists of a total of 111,000 square meters of ready-to-build plots located close to the motorway exit. The project’s second phase, expected to start at the turn of the year, consists of a further 157,000 square meters south of the area that constitutes phase one. When the project is fully developed, there will be a total of 88 hectares of business area, corresponding to 880,000 square meters.

Plots up to 32,000 m2
The entire area is offered in large plots of between 14,000 and 32,000 square meters. Lolland Municipality markets Maribo Business Park. The project primarily targets transport-heavy businesses such as warehouse and logistics companies and associated businesses. The individual parcels can be divided or matriculated together as required.

Cautious optimism
Mads Stærk is cautiously optimistic about the project:

– After all, there is no sale until there is a signed agreement. But even now, it’s really fantastic, says Mads Stærk.

The next visible expansion of Erhervspark Maribo will be when Tesla and Clever open a charging station for electric cars at the business park.
