An outdoor mini fair with grilled sausages and burgers turned out to be an unusually good idea. Especially because it was held a kilometer away from the tunnel construction site in Rødbyhavn and partly during the lunch break. A total of 900 grilled sausages with bread and 150 burgers were put to death on the square in front of FB Supplier’s office in Rødbyhavn.
At least 300 guests
Contract Manager Henriette F. Klement from FB Suppliers did not manage to count how many visitors there were at the mini fair on Wednesday, but estimates that there were “at least 300”.
– There have been almost 40 exhibitors with stands and both local and visiting visitors. Everything has been free for members – both stands and catering, and we have run it as a joint party. Some brought tents, some brought food and soft drinks. It has been a very positive experience. And the weather was lucky, says Henriette F. Klement.
Not the last time
When FemernReport stopped by – naturally at lunchtime – there was a good queue for both the homemade burgers and grilled sausages. And in the queues there were both people in work clothes and rubber boots and people in blazers. So both white and blue collars had clearly embraced the concept.
It was the first time that FB Suppliers attempted a mini fair, but the positive reception has convinced Henriette F. Klement that it bears repeating:
– We will definitely do that again, she says.
