MSE Entreprise A/S becomes part of the Belgium-based infrastructure group Infra Group, which works with the construction, upgrading, and maintenance of utility and communication networks. This includes, among other things, electricity, fibre and telecom, water and gas, as well as earthworks. Infra Group itself states that the group operates in Belgium, the Netherlands, France, Germany, Denmark, Luxembourg, and most recently Switzerland, and combines international presence with local companies.

Facts about Infra Group

  • Established: 1966 (over 55 years of experience in infrastructure projects)

  • Headquarters: Temse, Belgium

  • Employees: Over 5,000 staff across Europe

  • Annual turnover: Over 1 billion euros (≈7.5 billion DKK)

  • Specialty: Design, construction, upgrading and maintenance of utility and communication networks (electricity, telecom/fibre, water, gas, etc.)

  • Geographical presence: Belgium, Netherlands, France, Germany, Luxembourg, Denmark, and expanded to Switzerland in 2025

Infra Group has already gained a foothold in Denmark. On 24 October 2024, the group took over LM Gruppen in Køge, which works in areas including fibre, district heating, and electricity. With the acquisition of MSE, Infra Group thus stands with two Danish companies.

Big money behind

In recent years, the group has expanded significantly in Europe through acquisitions. In 2025, Infra Group also moved into Switzerland with the acquisition of the infrastructure company Innov Group, which works with utility and network infrastructure. The acquisition was described as part of the group's continued European expansion.

According to a Dutch source, Infra Group is also backed by strong capital funds from France and the United Kingdom, and the ownership is linked to an ambitious growth strategy focusing on acquisitions and expansion.

The Fehmarn connection may have been part of the backdrop for the change of ownership. For several years, MSE has carried out tasks on the construction as a subcontractor and is among the local contractors with significant activity on the project, which gives Infra Group a direct connection to one of Denmark's largest infrastructure projects.
