SJF Bank is investing DKK 10 million in VEXTUM, where local investors join forces to invest in companies and projects across Lolland-Falster.
It is the largest single investment in the company to date and gives VEXTUM significantly more capital to deploy.
Chairman Bo Wilchen-Pedersen sees the bank’s involvement as an important step for VEXTUM.
- We are very pleased to welcome SJF Bank as part of VEXTUM. It is a strong endorsement of the work we have started, and at the same time the investment gives us significantly greater scope to invest in attractive projects and companies in Lolland-Falster. We also expect SJF Bank’s involvement to help attract even more local investors, says Bo Wilchen-Pedersen, Chairman of VEXTUM.
For SJF Bank, the investment is a natural extension of its involvement in the business community of Lolland-Falster.
- We want to make a targeted contribution to local business development in Lolland-Falster, which is why it makes good sense for us to become involved in VEXTUM. Lolland-Falster has a large and attractive business community with good investment opportunities. We believe in the area and in the companies and people driving its development, and we want to help support that progress, says Michael Nielsen, Deputy Director at SJF Bank.
As part of the bank’s involvement, he has also joined VEXTUM’s board.
