Business is stronger than expected at Lollands Bank. The bank is now raising its forecast for profit before tax to DKK 120–135 million, up from the previous DKK 100–125 million.
This is stated in a company announcement from the Nakskov-based bank, which points to stronger growth and activity in its main business areas than previously expected. At the same time, higher-than-anticipated interest rates are generating additional income.
The bank is also raising its expectations for underlying earnings, which are now forecast at DKK 80–95 million, compared with the previous DKK 70–90 million.
The bank is also benefiting from larger positive value adjustments on securities and reports that the credit quality of its lending portfolio continues to develop satisfactorily.
There is, however, one important condition attached to the expected full-year result: The sale of the bank’s ownership stake in BEC must be completed. The transaction forms part of an overall sale to Nykredit, which is still expected to close later in the second half of 2026.
In addition, interest rates, securities prices and impairment charges on loans and guarantees may also affect the result. The bank will publish its third-quarter trading update on 18 November.
