Friis Andersen Arkitekter continues to earn a solid multi-million-krone profit, but earnings have fallen in the latest financial year.
The Nykøbing Falster-based architecture firm ended 2025/26 with a net profit of DKK 8.6 million, compared with DKK 9.2 million the year before. Profit before tax also declined, from DKK 11.9 million to DKK 11.1 million.
The drop comes despite an increase in staff numbers and higher gross profit. Friis Andersen Arkitekter employed an average of 35 people during the year, up from 32 the year before, while gross profit rose from DKK 36.4 million to DKK 37.4 million.
From its base in Nykøbing Falster, the practice works on projects both locally and elsewhere in Denmark. Friis Andersen Arkitekter provides architectural and consultancy services and has, among other things, been involved in projects in Middelfart and Holbæk, as well as securing a place on a consultancy framework agreement in Ishøj.
The larger workforce is also reflected in the accounts. Staff costs increased from DKK 24.3 million to DKK 26.4 million, while operating profit ended lower than the year before. On the other hand, the company recorded higher financial income, which helped support the result further down the income statement.
