Guldborgsund Municipality has sold the undeveloped site at Rigavej 12 to Milence Infrastructure Denmark 1 ApS for DKK 2,080,181. The transaction was registered on Thursday, 27 August.
The land registry does not state what Milence intends to use the site in Nørre Alslev for. The property is located on Rigavej in Business Park Falster near exit 43, where the business area has direct access to the E47/E55 motorway.
Guldborgsund Municipality has previously highlighted the area as a transport hub between Copenhagen, Berlin and Hamburg.
The Danish company is part of Milence, which is headquartered in Amsterdam and employs 143 people. Milence was established in 2022 by Daimler Truck, TRATON Group and Volvo Group, which together invested EUR 500 million, equivalent to DKK 3.7 billion, in the company.
The purchase comes as Milence is expanding its presence in Denmark. In June, the company opened its first Danish charging hub near Padborg, close to the German border. The site is located on the Scandinavian-Mediterranean TEN-T corridor and is intended, among other things, to support electric freight transport between the Nordic countries and Central Europe.
On Friday, Milence also joined the industry association Drivkraft Danmark. In connection with the announcement, the company described Denmark as an important market and a key link between the Nordic region and the rest of Europe.
According to Drivkraft Danmark, Milence operates 38 charging hubs in nine European countries and is working to expand its network along Europe’s main transport corridors.
