The local construction company Rødby Construction ApS, based on Toftevej in Løjtofte near Nakskov, is undergoing bankruptcy proceedings.
The company was founded as recently as February 20, 2024, by Violetta Miroslawa Kozlowska, who was both the owner and managing director. According to registrations with the Danish Business Authority, the company had a capital of 40,000 kroner at startup and employed up to 22 employees at times. Previously, a company named Rødby Enterprise was registered at the same address and with the same director. That company went bankrupt shortly before Rødby Construction was established.
On February 4, 2025, a request for dissolution was sent to the bankruptcy court.
- I can confirm that on March 3, 2025, I was appointed as the trustee in the bankruptcy estate of Rødby Construction ApS. We are currently investigating the company's affairs. I can also confirm that there is a certain overlap with the bankruptcy estate of Rødby Enterprise ApS, says Henrik Selschau Poulsen, lawyer at Bruun & Hjejle.
The company operated within specialized construction activities and managed to be active for almost a year before issues led to the forced dissolution.
There is not yet publicly available information on what exactly led to the dissolution, but the Danish Business Authority noted in November 2024 that Violetta Miroslawa Kozlowska was not the actual director of the company.
