SEW North Filtration A/S has once again delivered positive figures on the bottom line. This year's profit was 6.45 million kroner - virtually unchanged from the previous year.
The company, which develops and produces filters primarily for the environmental sector, had a gross profit of just over 32 million kroner in 2024. This is slightly lower than in 2023, but the operating result is maintained at the same level as last year: 8.6 million kroner before interest and tax (EBIT).
Equity rose to just under 48 million kroner, and management assesses the result as satisfactory. The company is paying out 2 million kroner in dividends - twice as much as last year.
Focus on Automation
SEW North Filtration is engaged in a multi-year vision plan, and 2024 marked another step towards fully automated production. A robot-controlled packaging and transport solution was implemented, and a new PU foaming plant is under construction. It is expected to be operational during the first quarter of this year.
The company did not achieve its sales targets last year. Exports were hit by a slowdown in the last three quarters of the year. Nevertheless, management maintains expectations of progress in 2025.
Continuing with Robots and AI
According to management, 2025 will be the year when Vision Plan 6 is completed, and the next phase of the plan, called 6a, begins. This includes, among other things, fully automatic packaging, pipe rolling and sealing, as well as further LEAN initiatives. At the same time, data integration and the use of AI in production will be increased.
The company employed an average of 38 full-time employees in 2024 - seven fewer than the year before. SEW North Filtration A/S is located on Europavej in Maribo and was founded in 2011. The company is owned by Hvidtfeldt Invest ApS and LP Filtration ApS.
