JP Air Tech in Sakskøbing has undergone a significant renewal in both management and ownership over the summer. The company, which manufactures advanced filtration solutions from fibre cloth for industry, ventilation, and automotive production, has experienced strong growth and increasing international demand in recent years.
In June, Jakob Søndergaard Nielsen was appointed as the new CEO. He comes from the position of director at Metalcolour in Nykøbing and is also engaged in the local business community through Business Lolland Falster, where he is on the board.
Shortly thereafter, the ownership group was expanded. Dansk Ejerkapital, in collaboration with the existing owners, purchased a significant minority stake in JP Air Tech. The investment, advised by Bech-Bruun, is intended to support the company's international growth strategy and strengthen its position in a market where environmentally friendly filtration solutions are gaining ground. The previous owners continue as co-owners, while Saxine Holding remains the main shareholder.
International ambitions
At the same time, the board has been changed. Jens Kristensen has taken over as chairman, and Marie-Louise Bjerg has joined as a member. They replace Nichlas Tikotzki Jakobsen, who previously chaired the board. Thus, JP Air Tech has now assembled a new team in both management and the board, which, together with Danish Private Equity, will elevate the international ambitions.
The company has around 45 employees, and the workforce has steadily grown in recent years as production capacity has been expanded.
With a new director, a new chairman of the board, and fresh capital behind it, JP Air Tech is entering a new phase where growth plans and globalisation will become more prominent.
