After several years of deficits and building the business, DanuCare ApS is reporting a profit for the first time, which truly marks the company's strong position. The 2024 accounts show a surplus of a good 4.5 million kroner - a turnaround not due to isolated events, but a deliberate focus on long-term development and a stable customer base.
- We have had good earnings since we started, but have continued to invest the money in the company. And that is what gives a great financial statement now, explains Lena Haugstad Frederiksen, who is the market manager at DanuCare.
The company is based in Nykøbing and deals with clinical nutrition and related guidance. The customers are typically municipalities, home care, and the healthcare sector, but private citizens also trade directly. Copenhagen Municipality is among the company's major customers.

- It is an unpredictable market, where we are affected by both local politics and regional changes. The competition is tough, but we hope for a good 2025 with continued good cooperation with our municipalities and institutions, says Lena Haugstad Frederiksen.
Since its establishment in 2018, DanuCare has expanded both its range and customer base, and in 2023 the company was named a Gazelle by the newspaper Børsen - a title given to companies with continuous growth over several financial years.
