Lalandia A/S, which operates the holiday centre in Rødby, ended 2024 with a profit of 34.3 million DKK after tax. This is an increase of over 8 million DKK compared to the previous year.
Revenue landed at 221.5 million DKK, virtually unchanged from 2023. According to the management report, the number of guests was on par with the previous year, which was a record year. The result is also positively affected by exchange gains in connection with loan restructuring.
The holiday centre employs an average of 202 full-time employees and invested 7.2 million DKK last year in facilities and equipment.
New investments and green transition
Work is still ongoing on the possibility of establishing a large solar panel facility in Rødby. If realised, the facility could cover half of the holiday centre's electricity consumption and is expected to be ready in 2026.
At the same time, there are plans to replace the roof of the Aquadome hall at the end of 2025. The new roof will provide better insulation and thus reduce heat consumption.
Expecting stable operations
Management expects both revenue and operating profit in 2025 to be at the same level as in 2024 - with an uncertainty of +/- 10 million DKK in revenue and +/- 5 million DKK in profit.
The company has not made a final decision on whether more holiday homes will be built at Lalandia in Rødby.
Lalandia A/S is owned by PARKEN Sport & Entertainment A/S and also has a smaller subsidiary in Sweden.
