Here are the largest taxpayers

See which companies in Lolland, Guldborgsund and Vordingborg Municipality pay the most in corporation tax

Published

The largest corporate tax payers in the area range from banks and industrial companies to holding companies and investment firms. What they have in common is that they deliver solid profits, which are converted into million-dollar contributions in corporate tax. The list is based on the official tax lists from 2024 and only includes companies with a CVR address in Lolland, Guldborgsund, and Vordingborg Municipality. It thus shows which locally registered companies pay the most in tax.

However, the figures should be read with an important caveat. Many companies are part of groups where the tax is calculated collectively in one company. This means that earnings may be generated in one company while the tax is paid in another. Conversely, companies on the list may also cover activities and value creation outside the local area.

The accounts show a group with significant values, even though the development in the construction business has been more uneven. The corporation tax is 8.7 million DKK.

This is how we did it

The list is based on the Danish Tax Agency's latest public tax lists for companies (2024).

We have selected the companies that have a CVR address in Lolland, Guldborgsund and Vordingborg Municipality, and ranked them according to paid corporation tax.

The figures cover corporation tax on the taxable income for the relevant income year.

It is important to be aware that many companies are part of groups where the tax is calculated collectively in one company. For example, companies like Vestas and Nordic Sugar pay their corporation tax centrally in the company where the accounts are presented.

Part of the tax is subsequently distributed to the municipalities where the companies have employees and activity, among other things based on payroll totals.

The list thus shows where the tax is formally paid. Not necessarily where the values are created.

10. Ejendomsmægler Dennis Frederiksen Holding ApS

This is the holding company behind estate agent Dennis Frederiksen. Earnings typically come from profits in the brokerage business as well as any property investments. Thus, there is a clear connection to the local housing market and activity in property transactions on Lolland-Falster. In an active market, this provides high dividends to the holding company. This is reflected in a corporation tax of 2.9 million DKK.

11. INV Finans A/S

INV Finans A/S is a financial company that works with investment and asset management. The company operates as an investment unit, where earnings come from returns on securities and financial transactions. It is therefore not a traditional operating company with employees and production. The result largely depends on developments in the financial markets and the company's own investments. In the latest accounts, this results in a corporation tax of 2.5 million DKK. The owners are Henrik and Kristian Løftegaard.
