A/S Femern Landanlæg ended 2024 with a profit of 85 million kroner after tax. This is stated in the company's recently published annual report.
The result before tax amounted to 105 million kroner, which is a significant improvement compared to 2023, where the company had a pre-tax loss of 10 million kroner. Total operating expenses were 172 million kroner, while financial income boosted the result by 814 million kroner.
At the end of the year, the company's assets were 30.6 billion kroner, primarily consisting of road and rail facilities and financial receivables. Equity had increased to 1.46 billion kroner.
A/S Femern Landanlæg is part of the state's work on the Fehmarn Belt connection. The company is responsible for building the land facilities in Denmark - namely the motorway and railway between the Fehmarn connection and Ringsted.
The tunnel under the Fehmarn Belt is being built by another state-owned company, Femern A/S.
Both companies are owned by Sund & Bælt Holding A/S, which also owns the Great Belt Bridge and half of the Øresund Bridge.
