Subscription data is stored in Iteras. If you cancel your subscription or pause it, your data remains in Iteras for later use and history. You can request the deletion of your data from Iteras by contacting our subscription service via email or phone.

1.2 Access to Article Content If you have a subscription to FemernBusiness.com, you have access to all content. Subscription data is stored in our system, Iteras, and handled confidentially.

1.3 Newsletter To receive the FemernBusiness.com newsletter, you need to provide your email address—otherwise, we cannot send it to you. We only request your name and email when signing up for our newsletter.

You can unsubscribe at any time via the link at the bottom of all newsletters. We use Mailchimp to distribute our newsletters.

1.4 Data Collection via Forms When using forms on FemernBusiness.com to sign up for a trial subscription, your data is submitted to us securely through our subscription system, Iteras. The data collected via Iteras' Recaptcha forms is used solely for the requested processing, allowing your trial period to start.

If you do not subscribe after your trial period, all your data in Iteras is deleted. If you subscribe, your information is stored to administer, manage, and bill your subscription.

1.5 Trial and Regular Subscription Data Collection You can sign up for a trial subscription through our forms or by contacting the subscription department. Data collected via secure connections is only used for the necessary processing to initiate your trial period.

1.6 Contests and Special Offers Occasionally, we host contests, usually collecting your name and email address. Participation is always voluntary. You can request access to the data we’ve collected or ask for its deletion.

Non-Personal Information

Editorial and Journalistic Work

All content on FemernBusiness.com is covered by copyright law. Producing quality journalism is costly, so we emphasize adherence to the applicable copyright laws.

To the extent that we process your data in connection with our editorial and journalistic work, such processing is generally not covered by data protection legislation.

This means your rights, such as access or deletion, do not apply to articles, whether online or in print.

Under Section 3(4) of the Data Protection Act, processing under the Media Database Act is exempt from the GDPR and the Data Protection Act. Processing automatically falls under the Media Database Act when the medium is subject to the Media Liability Act.

Under Section 3(8) of the Data Protection Act, other processing conducted solely for journalistic purposes is also exempt from most rules of the GDPR and the Data Protection Act. Chapters 2-7 and 9 of the GDPR do not apply to the processing of personal data exclusively for journalistic purposes. The rights of data subjects and processing grounds contained in Chapter 2 of the GDPR do not apply in these cases.

This applies to all editorial articles and images by FemernBusiness, both online and in printed newspapers. You can request de-indexing and/or deletion of articles, images, or content by contacting the editorial team.

We retain all requests concerning de-indexing/deletion as long as necessary to document the handling of the request and ensure any de-indexing/deletion occurred due to a personal request. This is also to document why an article or content was de-indexed/deleted, based on our legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR.

The editorial team has sole discretion to determine whether a request for de-indexing/deletion of editorial content can be granted.

Copying Website Content

Articles, photographs, graphics, and other published material on FemernBusiness.com are available for viewing/reading.
